Children’s Specialized Hospital is proud to sponsor the 17^th Annual Sanctioned Regional Swim Meet February 27 , 2010 At Rutgers.  

This meet is being run in cooperation with the Tri-State Wheelchair Athletic Association and this year will be the Tri-State Regional Swimming Event.

Some details of how the meet will be run are listed below:

APPLICATION - SEE BELOW

- This meet will be run according to Wheelchair and Ambulatory Sports USA (WASUSA) and IPC Swimming rules.

- This meet is recognized as a qualifier for WASUSA's National Junior Disability Championships.
             

- All junior athletes must be members of WASUSA and also of an RSO and/or NGB. 
Memberships will be checked at registration.

         - Unclassified competitors will be allowed to compete after having received
           a  provisional swim classification (for this meet only).  Those swimmers
           requiring provisional classification MUST BE AT THE CENTER AT 12:00PM,
           to allow adequate time to observe and classify the athletes.  

         -  Junior age groups are designated by the following Divisions:

• Futures, A 7-9,  B 10-12, C 13-15, D 16-18 & E 19-21.  (Age as of January 1st) or

• <11, <14, <17, <20, <23  (Age as of 12/31/2010)

         -  Adults will swim as
                 - Adults <40
                 - Masters >39
                - Age as of 12/31/2010

        -         Results - Results cards will be presented to all competitors.

        -         Pool - 25-yard indoor pool will be used for competition.

        -         WSUSA National records cannot be set at this meet;
        meet & regional records only.

        -         US Paralympic National Records can be set.

        -         Final results will be available on the Tri State Website within 3 weeks of
        the meet.

Please do not arrive at the facility before 12:00. 

- ENTRY DEADLINE
   All entry forms are due no later than February 16, 2010. 
   Entries postmarked after February 16th are subject to a $10.00 registration late fee.

   The entry fee must be returned with the completed registration form.
