The Fourth Annual HHK Wheelchair 10K was held in
Ridgewood, NJ 5/31/04. The race is the Wheelchair
division of the Ridgewood Run.
2004 brought to Ridgewood 23 of the area and the country's best
Wheelers.
This year 4 of 5 of this year's 42, nominated USA September 2004 Athens
Greece Paralympians and Krige Schabort of South Africa led the Men, Women
and Quad divisions to victory.

4 - Great race management, Respect for the wheelchair
athletes, Good Prize money in Open Men, Women, Junior Boys, Girls.
Quad Men and Women, and Master.
The course has some hills but is relatively flat. The
course is fast and loops back on its self so spectators can see the
athletes at the start, at 2 miles, at 4.5 miles and at the finish. |
